About a wonder on day four of the fourth Ashes Test England dreamed for a moment.
Australia were wobbling at 44-4 before Steve Smith struck 82 and then Pat Cummins removed Joe Root and Rory Burns together with balls, when the declaration left half-an-hour to England to bat.
England’s hopes of a draw will be in tact but badly dented. Graham Gooch and Bob Willis combined the following day that was enthralling to be reflected by Charles Colvile.
