England head coach Chris Silverwood will return home.
The 44-year-old, who had been appointed a month, will be substituted for the last 3 days of the Test at Hamilton by assistant coaches Graham Thorpe and Paul Collingwood.
England are currently seeking to prevent defeat in the two-Test series in New Zealand.
Talking Silverwood explained how his trainers and he will attempt to relieve the strain on captain Joe Root amid his batting struggles.
The 28-year-old scored just 13 runs over two innings in the defeat to New Zealand, and his average for the season is simply 27.4 out of 10 Tests.
Roots typical because assuming the captaincy at February 2017 currently stands at 39.7, which contrasts unfavourably to his pre-captaincy average of 52.8.
Silverwood stated:Behind the scenes we have got to keep trying to strip off what he doesnt need to fret about, making certain that when it comes to clinic he is only one of the lads, he is in there and hes worried about his batting and that is it.
So theres things like that and supporting him and talking to him and try to strip away pressure.
