Norwich City confront a mounting injury crisis with centre Timm Klose set to be out to get a”few months” with a knee problem.
The Swiss international suffered a posterior cruciate ligament injury in his right knee at the Carabao Cup conquer Crawley Town on August 27.
Klose submitted Instagram:”Unfortunately I have to have a break for a few months from doing the thing that I really like the most.
“During this period that my teammates and the team have my total support.
“Time I’d like to correct the issue, recover and return stronger than ever before!”
The Canaries have also confirmed midfielder Tom Trybull has been ruled out for a few weeks after sustaining an ankle ligament injury to West Ham on Saturday.
The club will continue to evaluate after spat with Hammers forwards Sebastien Haller at the London Stadium center half Christoph Zimmerman, who was taken to hospital.
Head coach Daniel Farke has a depleted backline with club captain Grant Hanley pulling from the squad for their Euro 2020 qualifiers of Scotland using a groin injury from Belgium and Russia.
This leaves Ben Godfrey as the club fit centre back.
Norwich are 19th in the Premier League table with only one win from their opening four games back.
