Saturday 3PM Football League BTTS Acca
In the five games involving Luton Town this season, we have only seen one match finish with any facet keeping a fresh sheet (a defeat away at the solid Sheffield Wednesday).
It is apparent the Hatters will dent and concede plenty more in the forthcoming months, and contemplating Barnsley have conceded 10 goals in their past four matches, we might be in for some action.
Rochdale’s fixture against top-of-the-table Blackpool is going to be a toughie, but I believe they will make a fist of it — resulting in teams scoring.
While Blackpool, though quite powerful, have observed both teams score in most fixtures since the opening day the Dale have scored and conceded in all-but one match this season.
This could be a real cracker.
In the end, while not the very hot fixture on paper, I have Grimsby and Port Vale to both score against each other.
Port Vale have observed every game ending with both teams scoring so far in the effort, while Grimsby have only failed to score while also keeping only one sheet.
I really don’t expect fireworks, but Vale have found the net from Colchester and Salford on the street –both seen as possibly tough areas to go at the beginning of the year –which should set them up well against a Grimsby outfit whose two home league matches to date have noticed both teams rating.
