Serena Williams breezes into US Open semi-finals

As she withdrew China’s Wang Qiang 6-1 6-0 in the US Open quarter-finals, only 1 game dropped.
This was Williams’ success in the US Open, also the fastest at this season’s tournament.
Williams wasn’t troubled by the ankle as she pushed past Qiang to move to some 24th Grand Slam singles trophy she wrapped in her game.
Williams won the first five games in around 15 minutes. After dropping one match, the 37-year-old gathered the following 11 points in every game along with a row.
Williams ended to zero to get Wang, who played in her first important quarter-final, also will confront # 5 seed Elina Svitolina to get a berth in the last.
“From when I first began here… I never believed I would return to 100,” Williams said of her victory landmark.
“did not even cross my mind I would still be outside here. But I love what I do.”
The American said that the ankle she gathered during her fourth-round game wasn’t a problem:”Physically, I am feeling great, and more than anything else I’m having fun each time I come out here.”
