As Flamengo came from a goal down to beat River Plate in a dramatic conclusion to the Copa Libertadores 26, gabriel Barbosa scored two late goals.
River Plate took the lead throughout Rafael Borre and looked to be cruising with their fifth Libertadores hit.
However, Barbossa – who is on loan from Inter Milan – switched the match on its head.
Since he turned into the square pass of Bruno Henrique his first goal came with just a minute of normal time remaining.
And in a finish reminiscent of Manchester United victory over Bayern Munich in the 1999 Champions League final, the striker pounced back to strike on the winner.
As there was still time to get 2 cards, the drama did not end there however.
Exequiel Palacios was sent off to kicking Henrique while he had been on the ground and then Flamengos two-goal hero was shipped off for applause that was sarcastic.
The closing Lima was the very first to be played at a neutral venue in the tournament history.
The match was scheduled to take place but was changed into Lima because of political unrest in the capital.
The change came a year after the second leg of the final between Boca Juniors and River Plate was moved to Madrid as it approached the scene after the Boca coach was attacked by River supporters.
